Academic Affairs Committee
Purpose
The Academic Affairs Committee’s mission is to give students a voice within the administration, and a chance to make the academic experience at Michigan as beneficial and relevant as it can possibly be. This committee works on a variety of projects, all of which are academically focused. Some of our current projects include:
- Pursuing Minors in the Psychology and Chemistry Concentrations
- Developing Themed Semesters into a more influencial and effective
- Creating a greater integration between academics and the campus climate
- Holding dialogues once a semester between students and faculty todiscuss academic issues
- Improving study abroad opportunities
- Working to develop greater communication with the career center
We meet Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the LSA building and are always looking for new members. Come let us know what you would like to change about your education.
