Honor Council
Purpose
We work to help promote academic integrity on campus and to provide an opportunity for the discussion of ethical issues Honor Council meets as a whole one Monday a month, and each chair committee meets approx. twice every month Current projects/event plans include planning for a diag day, working to create a seminar on lab reports for each semester, and creating a role for members to help students who are facing academic misconduct hearings. Honor Council President - Weston Bruner
Weston Bruner is a junior Political Science Major from Baltimore, Maryland. He is an active member of the WCBN FM Ann Arbor Sports Broadcasting team, having broadcast primarily Michigan hockey and football games. He succeeded to President of the LSA Honor Council after serving as Vice President for several months. As President he looks forward to helping set up numerous events to promote awareness of academic integrity on campus and assisting students during the adjudication process. He feels that Honor Council can become an integral part of campus life for years to come. Weston transferred from Emory University and is in his second year at Michigan.
