Student Advisory Panel to Academic Advising

Purpose

SAPAA serves to improve the general quality of undergraduate advising services and brings the specific concerns of students to relevant administrators to seek resolution for these problems. We often consult and collaborate with a variety of academic departments in addition to the Newnan Advising Center including the Career Center, concentration advising, and ONSP. We are currently working on improving orientation advising, technology and the advising experience (podcasting, CTools, etc), publicity for the 2008 Concentration Fair (March 26, 11-3 Union Ballroom) and quick answer office hours by department. We also hold bimonthly meetings with the advising center to hold open forums on issues of concern. We meet Mondays 6:45 p.m. before AAC. For locations, check the calendar of this site.
